Most operational policies and guidance for schools are provided centrally by the Department of Education and Training. They can be located in the Policy Advisory Library. They are updated regularly, and the web-based version should be referred to wherever possible to ensure the most relevant guidance is used.

Rationale 

Regular homework as given by the teachers and home-study are important for the consolidation of learning. It provides the student with opportunities to consolidate and extend on the knowledge and skills learnt in class, as well as enabling the student to develop independent study habits which are necessary for both future study and work expectations.

Open Night


ENROLMENT

We invite you and your child to learn more about Doncaster Secondary College by attending our Open Night.

Designed for parents of primary-aged students, our Open Night is held annually as an opportunity to visit Doncaster Secondary College and explore the College grounds. During this evening there will be two available sessions, one available at 5.30 pm and the second available at 6.30 pm. Earlier this month, Joanna Lin, who graduated from Doncaster Secondary College last year, was drafted in the  AFLW 2020 National Draft at Pick 26 to the Pies. After playing her first footy game at DSC in 2017 in Interschool Sports, she loved it so much she joined Bulleen Templestowe Junior FC.
