2001 graduate Aaron March said that he didn’t know what he wanted to do when he left school, but he knew that “you only get one go at life so you may as well have a crack at something worth achieving”. Starting a social enterprise, ‘Beat Cancer’ that sells a range of trendy products, donating 100% of profits to fund cancer research, is definitely, ‘worth achieving’!

Enrolment Process

Doncaster Secondary College is a zoned school with a designated neighbourhood boundary. As demand for places at our College is high, evidence of residency within the designated boundary is required from students wishing to attend the College.

We aim to accommodate all families living within the boundary and have clearly defined enrolment guidelines to ensure the process is streamlined and consistent with Government legislation.

Performance Centre

The Doncaster Secondary College Presentation and Performance Centre is a modern, well appointed facility. It was built in 2002 and has fully tiered seating for an audience of 322. The facilities include fully operational sound and lighting equipment. The Performance Centre is used by a range of community groups for musicals, school concerts, productions and dance performances.

Camps

A highly successful Camps and Tours Program provides the opportunity for all Year 7 students to participate in an orientation camp during Term 1 to assist in their transition to Secondary school. In December 2015 one group of Year 9 students enjoyed the outdoor recreational camp at Wilsons Promontory National Park and another group enjoyed six days in Tasmania.
